The City of Brownsville acted quickly and aggressively on the need to have a testing site available to identify those who exhibited symptoms of COVID-19. Our Brownsville drive-thru testing site launched Wednesday, March 25th at the Brownsville Sports Park.
At Least 50% of the individuals that have been tested are uninsured. Currently, the City of Brownsville is absorbing the cost. The City of Brownsville will keep pace with its commitment to keeping our city healthy.
The City of Brownsville will be accepting donations to support the COVID-19 Relief Fund, Mitte Cultural District, and continued drive-thru testing.
