Following the recommendation of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, who recommend wearing facemasks to prevent the spread of COVID-19 when venturing out to public places, the City of Brownsville is launching a facemask design challenge to our local creative minds to showcase our community’s artistic flair.

Wearing facemasks can create anxiety for everyone, especially children. This is a great opportunity to get involved as a family and create something positive that promotes our uniqueness.

Be creative!! The challenge will be broken down into two (2) categories free hand design and digital design; and (3) levels: Beginner, Intermediate and Expert. Please choose the one that fits you and your family best.

Winners will be chosen and recognized by our Mayor and City Commission during a Commission meeting and receive a $50.00 gift card from their favorite Brownsville restaurant.

Winning designs will be reproduced and distributed throughout the community while supplies last.

Anyone who lives in Brownsville is encouraged to participate. Only one entry per household. Only one gift card prize from any one Brownsville restaurant is permitted.
